About Us
Meet the Team Behind Alpine Online
Founder & Managing Director
Before founding Alpine Online with his wife Danielle in 2019, Dave spent 20 years in the U.K. grocery industry, specialising in data-driven business growth.
Alongside running Alpine Online, Dave enjoys coaching his son’s football team, family beach walks with Lenny the dog, and has raised over £20k for charity through challenges like the U.K. Ironman, and running 13 marathons in 13 days from Newcastle to London
Director & Category Manager
Before founding Alpine Online with Dave, Danielle worked in the financial services sector for 18 years, specialising in pensions and protection for small businesses, and wealth management and retirement planning for high-net-worth individuals. In her spare time Danielle likes to keep fit, travel the world and spend time with friends and family.
Finance Director
Phil is a self-confessed data geek. After a long and varied career working in I.T. for Rowntree Mackintosh / Nestle, building and managing new golf course from scratch, and running his own catering company, Philip now works as the Finance Director for Alpine Online. In his spare time Phil loves globe-trotting with his wife Lynn, dog-walking and playing golf.

Category Insights Executive
After graduating from Solent University with a degree in musics and record production, Sophie worked as communications specialist in the energy and technology sectors. After taking a career break to raise her three wonderful children, Sophie joined Alpine Online as a Category Insights Executive. In her spare time Sophie enjoys running, reading and baking (sometimes with the kids! Haha!)
Charity Fundraising
Over the years, both Alpine Online and founder Dave have contributed to raising over £30,000 for charity. Our charity partners have included the Motor Neurone Disease Association, Scope, and WWF. Dave’s charity challenges have included the UK Ironman and running 13 marathons in 13 days from Newcastle to London.
Tree Planting
Alongside our charity partner ‘Make it Wild,’ we’ve planted 36 trees. Over their first 40 years, these trees will sequester an average of 120 tonnes of CO2e. Learn more about ‘Make it Wild’ at https://www.makeitwild.co.uk.
Community
Alpine Online proudly sponsors the Whitley Sporting Club U10s, providing their kit for the season. Our founder and managing director, Dave, also coaches the team.
